Default Camaro Project

I've found a 1969 Camaro project car on Craigslist. I'm really interested in this car, but my dad is a little more hesitant. The link to the car is below, so any input anyone has on the car, the condition of the car, and if this would be worth the purchase, would be greatly appreciated.

The car is going for $4750

This is a plain Camaro. Nuthing special. The x44 indicates that it was built later in the year and is just a coupe. If no x44 code, it was built earlier in the year, before the x codes were stamped. I would say its a decent price for the type of work needed. You will have alot of work ahead for you. Depending on how much time and effort you are willing to put forth will determine if you get the car or not.

I agree with cplthomas on this one. it kind of looks like it might be Pandora's Box though. he says it's been through 2 owners and I'm sure it's been sitting in bare metal for quite some time so I would bet that there have been many misplaced parts (and they're always the hard ones to get) over time.

if this is your first restoration, I would suggest something a little more put together so you don't get discouraged.

good luck with whatever you choose to do
