brake line question
I removed the power booster/master cylinder and replaced it with a MANUAL Wilwood master cylinder. I am running new brake lines through the whole car and ordered pre-bent lines for manual setup....unfortunately they were bent like the previous ones i took out which make them come all the way up over the master cylinder. So i sent them back a reordered from a different company. On a manual setup do i use the original distribution block bracket? Anybody ever make this change before? Brake lines are a pain in the A$$....so trying to do my homework first.
the car was power drum/drum.....i have now converted to disk/disk. they are not giant oversized calipers....they are 4 piston calipers from wilwood. and also a wilwood master cylinder that i already mounted to the firewall and mounted the push rod to the "manual" hole on my brake pedal for more force. master cylinder is 7/8th bore for more pressure. i wanna start plumbing in my line lock....but not messing with anything till i get the brake lines in and distrubition block mounted in the correct postion.
ok....i ordered manual stainless steel brake lines from a different place (heartbeat) and they sent the correct ones! they bolted right into the distribution block and i used the original distribution block bracket. MMMMM....they look nice!
