Post "Basket Case" a 69' Restoration

Hi everyone. This is the 69 project camaro I'm working on. Ive named it Basket Case with good cause, but don't think I don't love working on it. Because I do. A Lot. Anyway I'll keep this thread updated as well as I can and post any questions I have here. I also have a video log of the car on youtube that I update about 3 times a week if you want to see more: http://www.youtube.com/user/SaveOldSchoolMuscle. And now some pictures:

Rusted out Rocker Panel:

Rusted out Rear Quarter/Outer Wheel housing:

And Worst of all Rusted out Frame Rail:

If these pictures are to big I'll resize them and edit the post. I welcome any comments or suggestion you guys could offer. Thanks in advance!

frostlime69 I don’t know much about the history of the car because I don’t own the car. I’m just restoring it for my friend Bob as a second job. I’ll tell what I do know. It a Chicago car if the rust didn’t tell you that already. In the summer 2003 when I started working on the car it was already disassembled. The floors, dash, cowl, and trunk pan were all rusted out. I sandblasted the car but not the underside. We primed it and I started brazing in patch panels into floor dash and so on. In the fall of 2003 Bob bought a 66 Mustang coupe to help out a friend. We had no place to store the mustang over the winter so we stopped all work on the camaro. We got the Mustang done in December 2003 and I bought it from Bob. We parked the camaro behind the workshop covered it up and there it sat till mid march this year when I started working on it again.

I got a Question for you all. Do they make a reproduction of sheet metal support that’s sandwiched in between rear frame rails and under the rear seat floor pan. It forms the little pocket that two of nuts for rear leaf spring bracket bolt to. I checked NPD and Year One they don’t seem to have it just the floor pan. Here are some pictures of it.

I started sandblasting today but it did not go as planed. First off the sandblaster was clogged so I had dissemble it and clean it out. Then once I got it working it didn't give a steady stream of sand! ARG! I had to dump all the sand out and screen it again. Found a bunch of rust chunks a stuff in the sand. I spent more time trying to fix the blaster then I did blasting the car. Well anyway I got the blaster working and made good progress on trunk pan here's some pictures.
