Changing several things on my '69, put in a console and gauges, never liked the Hurst sticks so redid my TKO 5-sp shifter to a Muncie clone like were in C2 Corvettes, which I had several of.... I chose to leave it short but also fabbed an extension so can be raised up 2 or 3 inches

been thinkin about the autometer console gauge pod for my 68 with the 4 speed.

 

That looks nice! On a similar note, does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do for the shifter on my console? I installed a 5 speed transmission with a shorter shifter that is nowhere near stock. I need some type of boot that can fit and still look nice. The current shifter boot is just a temporary solution.
