We are in the process of building my 68, We are installing a balanced and blue printed 454, using ProMAXX heads, Comp Roller 11-616-44, Weind Trick Warrior Intake Manifold, 850 Holly, to be tuned on a dyno when ready. Trans is a 4L80E, Rear end is a Strange 9" Ford Posi 4:11 set up on a 4 point rear suspension. The goal is to run mid 11s in the quarter mile. Without safefy equipment we will get to run it one time. A friend of mine that has raced big blocks for several years will be the driver, hoping his past experience will give us a slight edge. I will have spare parts available.
