68 LH Remote control mirror

Default 68 LH Remote control mirror
Can anyone tell me how long the base is on a remote control LH door mirror ?? The holes in my door are 6" apart, Thanks

I couldn't find any dimensions of the mirror base, but this drawing from the 1968 Assembly Manual pretty much shows the factory spacing for the mounting holes are closer than 6" a part.

Thank you peterpar, it appears someone mounted a 68 Mustang mirror on my Camaro. Assembly manual was very helpful.
