I just went through this just over a month ago without any luck. Actually, our local Glass company searched high and low without any results, so I called other glass companies in the area and still, nobody could find a windshield with an antenna built in. I even spent a couple day's browsing the internet and still, nothing.

Seems to me that there may just be a market for this...

Like another poster said, "Aint no way I'm drilling a hole".... I'm just going to mount mine in the trunk for now and not worry about it. Who listens to the radio anymore anyway?

I'm gonna have to start making sure I quote people, because your original response that I responded to was about a tape on wire type. That style that you changed the link to didn't exist in the 70's. Good to know that one works well. Does it use the car's electrical system as an antenna, or is there still some wire attached to the windshield?

the only electrical is the 12 volts and you just run that to the power antenna in the radio and the actual antenna wire also just run that to the radio

OK, cool. And you'd say reception is every bit as good as with the mast antenna? I don't like external antennas.
