Hello , I could use a little help with my Camaro. I have a 67 and it's got a 502 motor with a SS factory hood. The motor sit to high to get a air cleaner on it. I was wondering if I purchase a 2" coil induction hood would that allow enough room to put a air cleaner on the carb and close the hood. Any ideas on how to check the clearance before I purchase the hood. Thanks for your patience .

 

Just take some modeling clay and put it on top of your air cleaner .Then slowly close the hood That should give your clearance . The factory SS hood and the cowl hood have the same Clarence .Check it and get back to us.
