Default 69 pace car/hello Im a newbie

Hello. just joined this forum. I am also on Camaro 5 as I have a 13 convertible. anyway, I was wondering about the value of the pace cars, 1969. I see prices to buy all over the place, most state they are true pacers. what would be a reasonable price to pay for a 350 auto pace car that needs some work like paint, top, and some mechanical but still drives. will these continue to go up in value , or are these maxed out, or limited market since not everyone likes a white and orange car. just wanted some opinion and guidance. thanks! \

I would check some of the auctions like Barrett Jackson's past sales, pricing on a car like that is a tough call. It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. You can go to Hagerty and a few others to get a ball park but it may be a low or high ball. None of us have a crystal ball to tell you if they will go up or down in value, pricing on any 1st gen right now is pretty inflated so who knows?
3475 Pace car ragtops made according to a book I have so somewhat rare but not everyone wants all the pace car stuff or a ragtop so it has to be a special buyer that wants one,at auction it might fall on it's face or you might get a couple high rollers who both want it and it could go for stupid money.

I have a friend here locally (Missouri) that just sold his 69 Z11 pace car for 56,000 if memory serves. However it was really solid and needed nothing done to it.
