Default Newbie here with a "what's it worth" question

Hey, thanks for adding me.

I am not brand specific, however my last 3 have been mopars...last 2 being a 73 'Cuda 340 4spd, and a 69 Roadrunner 383 4spd.

I have an opportunity to purchase a 69 Camaro SS396/350hp 4spd that is Lemans Blue with a white hockey stripe, black guts 4spd. It's a real SS396, the original motor comes with the car, the originial 4spd is in the car. It currently has a crate 454 pushing 500hp.
The car is an older restoration that is never driven and in my family... it is spot on, and has never even been taken to shows.

What values would be put on it?
Thanks for your help!!

post pictures ,i would think they have more value with the parts in the right place ,like the original engine does it run, best way to get an acurate price is to have someone who does classic car Appraisals for a liveing, camaro clubs. my guess is 15 to 25k more or less depending on alot of things, there are a few guys hear have them so they will no more ,from how much bondo on the car to the original bolts exhaust can all affect value, is a little bit that i have learned about the older ones ,the 69 the most sought after seems to be the largest amount of them left ,also you can see what others are asking for simlular cars online

I have to respectfully disagree with your pricing. This is an easily 40k car. I follow Hagerty Valuation Tools which says a #3 car is 36k plus 20% for a 4spd.

mine was a guess ,take it to an appraisal company ,that does it for liveing every day,+ you put family member in there .an most people hear can do is take a guess ,other then the few guys that have them may agree ,you get 2 guys at an auction that may want to pay an others that may not want to pay ,the engine is not in the car ,no one knows the shape of the engine plays a role ,you said there is crate engine in it now right,go to the people that do it every day ,if i was buying from a close family member i would not want to pay that much again you said it. with the original engine in place i would agree 30+,but right now thats not the case ,you also acted like you had no clue whats its worth,if they say its worth that then just mabey it is ,but i would have someone look at the car that can give you a real everyday price who knows mabey its worth more, but go with a classic car Aprasials company, with all the right things in the right places, before you get one done,i am going buy friends an cars i have seen for sale ,or almost bought an the net, just like you
