4 speed shifter stock

Default 4 speed shifter stock

Does anyone know the part number that is on a stock shifter and base so I known if I have the right 1 when I find one at a swapmeet 4 my 68 thanks

67-69 stock 4 speed cars used a plain Hurst shifter that mounted to the crossmember whether it was a muncie or saginaw. Many of these were replaced by Hurst Competition plus shifters because these mounted to the tail housing of the tranny and moved with the tranny when torque was applied. 68 supposedly had two part numbers, one for muncie and one for saginaw.

How can I find out what the part number would be 4 the saginaw
