I'm not to sure that the folks that might be able to afford a car like this will really care if gas gets $5.00 /gal...Its not a daily driver...They want a toy that they could not afford or have when they were younger..

For an unrestored all original car like this in rally green, $40K sounds like a fair price. If it does have the original paint and drivetrain, it is a very desirable car for Camaro collectors. Even in this economy there are still people with money who would be willing to pay that amount or more for an unrestored RS/SS. The only thing that might deter some buyers is the automatic transmission. Awesome car and in my favorite 1969 color! Good luck with the sale.

I'd love to see more pictures of that 8 track player. I've never seen one at all.
