Default Value of 1991 Black Z28 5 Speed with 10k miles original mint

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone can give me a ballpark pricing figure on a 1991 Camaro Z28 with a 5 Speed manual coupe and 10,000 miles . Interior is tan and is mint exterior looks like a new car as well - possibly a repaint. Not sure if interior is original but judging by the mileage it should be.

A friend asked me to post this as they don't know how to use forums - or the computer much at all lol.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

With these types of car condition and options play a huge factor in value. Has the car even been scored at a show? If the car is a 98-99 it could be worth 20K. To understand that a 100 car is when the car just rolled off the assembly line but has NOT been drive to the parking lot yet. There are some purists that say the drive to the parking lot by itself make it a 99 car. If the car has been repainted or even re-cleared it will have a major effect on the value to a collector. One of the better ways to buy a collector car is to go to the shows and see how the car ranks. Now if we are talking about a non-show car that has just been babied and has some stone chips and may have replacement (none factory) battery and coolant hoes, I would guess in the 10-12K range. Also a non-show car would be subject to local value variation. If 305/ 5speed are hard to come by in your area it could raise the price. Show car people generally have no problem buying car half way across the country so the show car values are pretty level no matter where you are in the US.

If your friend is planning on making this a driver he should expect to put some money in it. You start using those 20 year old seals/gaskets everyday and they will not last long.
