Default Who here has the highest ORIGINAL miles??
Just wanted to get an idea what kind of mileage I can expect out of my 11 year old LT-1 engine.
Rebuilds don't count

well, cant help on the LT-1, but i had an 84 with a carbed 2.8 with an astonishing 286,000 miles when i sold it to my friend, and its still running on the original drivetrain

Wow!! Thats very high and its not a ricer! I guess maintaining a vehicle goes a long way

I have a 95 z28 with 240,000 original miles I have never been in the motor and i run thehell out of it.

Yep, 146000 miles here. It's extremely easy to get these engines to outlast the rest of the car. And dirt.

Proper maintenance goes a long way.

Yes, proper maintenance does go a long way because I have a 95 Z28 LT1 and I have 168,000 on her and she still runs like the day I bought it.
