Picked up a 302 engine today that was a warrantee replacement and has been sitting for 30 years.

The block stamping is CE9B356 35
Casting date G-29-9 ....3970010 block

Any idea what the B indicates;the other ce engines I have seen had CE plus a number ...no letters

 

That's all I know as well, CE then serial numbers. You sure that B isn't an 8?
