Default 1967 Camaro Drum Brakes low fluid in master cylinder

I have a 1967 Camaro with drum brakes. The brakes felt weird and after further review - I checked the master cylinder was very low on fluid. I added dot3 fluid. It is a little better, but still does not feel right. Any suggestions?

Bleed the brakes then. Since the fluid in the reservoir was very low, you could have sucked in some air after the fluid sloshed to the side while going around a turn. Then keep an eye on the level to make sure you don't have a leak. Generally, when someone knowledgeable is servicing the brake system, the fluid level shouldn't be left to be that low.
