Default Newbie lurking, maybe a 2LT or V6 in sight?

Hi, new to the forum. Been retired for 20 years and hopefully will have a few more years to enjoy. And one of my enjoyments is having cars that I couldn't have while working. I've had new 2002 325i and 2005 Z4 BMWs, kept each for about 10 years. Sold the 325 for a Caddy ATS as I didn't want another BMW (loved them, but wanted to try something else,) but wanted a reliable/fun ride that gave me the joy of the BMW. Well, the 2013 ATS 2L turbo was built to out-handle the BMW and it certainly has lived up to that claim...although the BMW's tranny and engine are better. The ATS was my BMW replacement. Sold the Z4 to lease a 2017 C300 coupe 2L turbo. Went for luxury sportiness over performance-luxury. As you can tell by the fact none of my cars had big engines, I'm not looking to out-race anyone, but I do thoroughly like to have a car that handles well...with a bit of speed when needed.

My C300 lease is up in a year and I've started considering what car (rear wheel coupe) will be next. At the moment I'm thinking 2019 Audi A5 or Camaro 2LT. Of course, the Audi is the more luxurious and finely built car, but as both cars handle well (Camaro's chassis modeled after the ATS,) are comfortable (I don't care about the no-room back or hindered rear view,) only differ overall by about 2 gallons/mile and gas mileage, only have a 0.1 to 0.4 second differences in 0-60mph vs the turbo and V6, respectively, I'm wondering if it will be worth it to spend about $15K more on the Audi??? However, if I do choose the Camaro (it will be an automatic,) I'm not sure which engine to choose - the 2L turbo or the V6? Even though I haven't decided which engine to get, I will be getting the tech and convenience/lighting packages and plan to run on regular all-seasons, I am not interested in adding anything else.

So, I'll be lurking here for a while and would certainly appreciate any and all comments that will help me in my decision making.

I'm thinking 2LT with Track Package. V6.

I've had lots of performance cars and a few F Body GMs of my past.

This Forum seems a bit dead to get much response on most posts. I'm off to find an active Site.

Default 2018 rs

I just bought this 2018 RS, and I love it. The v6 has tons of power and it sounds amazing. I looks fast standing still and I have yet to be on the right way and some one not pull up next to me and want to see how fast it will go.
