Hi, first post. Looking to buy a 2016 2LT. My first ever Camaro, I'm kinda excited. I just read the carfax, I havent read many of these and it seems fishy in a way. Says 1 owner but then the registration bounces between FL and PA. This seem normal to any of you? Thank you very much for any input.

Owner probably moved,happens all the time.
A friend of mine is moving to Arizona from Oregon soon and taking his one owner Camaro with him.

 

The registration bouncing between FL and PA could be normal. It might be a snowbird situation (seasonal residence) or the owner moved between states. If the rest of the Carfax looks clean and there are no title issues, it shouldn’t be a concern. To be safe, get a pre-purchase inspection and review maintenance records.

 

I'm curious, when did the 2021+ Carfax reports include the VIN specific Cyber Code, if you don't mind me asking? I thought they had that info earlier, or could it have just been an update?

 

I got a 21 SS with 4,000 miles on it, so I've already pulled the carfax - but i'd say the main thing is to make sure the "one owner" label is legit, since some dealerships will sell a demo car as a one-owner vehicle.

 

I got a Carfax report on my 22 SS and everything looks good but I'm curious - has anyone else gotten anything weird or missing from the report?
