2023 auto trans fluid

Default 2023 auto trans fluid
The manual says the fluid qty is .5 quarts. How is that possible.

What manual owner's? Just check the dipstick unless you've drained it. No way it's 1/2 quart,more like 10-15 quarts.
Maybe it says add .5 qt. when on the add mark of the dipstick?

Default Capacity
It says capacity as in thats what it holds. Engine oil is listed the same way in capacity but its 5.5 quarts. Wonder if its a typo.

Sounds like a typo,it's a new car call your dealer and ask about it.

I found the answer, the auto trans is sealed with lifetime fluid. .5qt is for the rear end which still seams like a small amount.

That's about right for the rear end,I didn't know the new ones had a sealed trans so I guess there's no dipstick.
