Should this bother me? Would it be a warranty issue?

It would bother me. As far as warranty goes, it looks like it had something sprayed on it so unless you can prove it was there when you got it I'd think you are out of luck on that.

I showed it to a body guy today, he believes lots of scrubbing over time of wheel polish will take it out. Do you think he is way of base? It won't cost me anything to try, so that's my plan for now.

Powdercoat those babies three shades darker. If not then I would get some 3M clear-coat compound My .02
