Hello all. New guy here. A little about my ride... 2011 Camaro LS. Completely blacked out. Purchased completely stripped with no factory/dealer options. 6spd black on black. No mods except blacking it out myself. Pictures to follow later. Here is my query... I currently have the stock rims, in which I have no issues with. I would like to keep the 18" size but want to go as wide as possible with a lower profile tire. I live in the backwoods of Louisiana and we have lots of twisties here. I plan to lower the suspension and beef it up a little at a time. Right now the main objective is tires. Those back tires look a little bleak for some reason... I have come to the conclusion that I can get a wheel and tire combo for a pretty reasonable value. I have about 1200 or so budget for this. I am fairly familliar with the 2nd gen tire sizes and what can be done reasonably there but new to my new baby. The future drop will be about 1.5" or so. Not too concerned with ride quality as I am with cornering agility. We do drive sports cars and do so for a reason. My question is is it possible to get a beefy 18" x 10" with a lower profile reasonably? It may look somewhat off kilter at first but will come together when the lower suspension parts eventually come in...
