Yeah its a nice ****ing car. The nicest ive seen... But it's still going to look just as sharp in 3 or 4 years as it does today.

You already have a Vette, think of how much the value of that has dropped when you go to resell it and reconsider.

Patience man

You asked and this is my reply God Speed and SENGLI...Consumers who over rationalize and justify their car purchases.

I love the Vette and will keep the Vette and don't really care about what it's market valuje is today, tomorrow or next year.

I buy a a ride for what it what does for my soul and how I feel when I drive it.

Live and be as happy as you can. You have control over this much of your life. Life is way too short.

I'm with you. What's with these na sayers? I also have a Corvette and don't even consider what it'll be worth 5 years from now. Who cares? Either you can afford new cars or you can't. If you can't afford it, don't bash people that can.

Man you guys all said it. You gotta buy what makes you happiest.

That said, there are ways to save money doing it. 'round here I could walk into a Chevy dealer and order a brand new, fully loaded Corvette Z06 for $116,000. Or I could walk over to their used cars and pick out a 2009 Z06 with equivalent of 8000 miles on it, and pay just $75,000.

Which is the better idea there?

You've got the right attitude. If nobody bought new ones there would never be any used ones.

Thanks for the response Saint Ebony..I'm taking the spirit of the message positive as I know what you mean.

But so folks don't get the wrong information on pricing for Vettes. Fully loaded Z06's don't go that high ($116K) Now where close to it. (More like $76 1LT-$85 4LT)

You were probably, most definelty loking at a new ZR-1.

Also a used Z06 with 8K miles...if you see one selling for $75...run far away, as fast as you can.

2010 Z06 1LT and 2/LT pkges for $76K-$85K

I'm Canadian. Cars cost more here. Unfortunately. :/

Have a look through http://chevrolet.ca and build a car or two and you will see what I mean.

And the Z06 I was referring to at $75,000, s'right here:

Canadian market totally different animal. Those prices the American market fortunately doesn't have to deal with. (You probably should have noted that in your reply.) Sorry for the confusion.

Hey wfo. I definitely have to agree with what these last few guys have been saying about buying what makes you happiest, as long as it doesn't "kill" ya, if you know what I mean. I am in the exact same boat. I WILL be buying when I get back. Enjoy yours when you get it!
