I've got a 2010 SS auto that is new to me and has about 58k miles on it. My first month and a half with it were very smooth but just a few days ago I began having an issue with the transmission. At random points, normally after a minute or so at a light, when I step on the throttle the RPMs climb to about 1,000-1,500 and then the car shifts into gear and accelerates. The shift is very rough and once it connects I'm slammed back in my seat. I've been unable to consistently replicate this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Disregard this post. I would delete it but I don't know how. Took the car to the dealer and the issue turned out to be a loss of pressure to the tranny as well as a blown torque converter.
