Yeah they took wayyy too long on this. I'd just rather get a Corvette. The new Camaro will probably be almost as much.

err no GM has stated that it will be competively priced with the mustang.....a sixxer stang is about 20k and a gt is about 28k(?) so maybe youll be seeing a V8 Camaro for around 30k anda sixxer for 23k or so.

Yes I have heard that too... but that can't be good for Corvette sales can it? Maybe thats why there waiting so long...?

Chevy has been doing that for ever......I meen Lt1 and Ls1 are the same motor they all share the same drive train and that didnt empare vette sales.....

True, I guess thats why they made the 08 Vette have 430hp instead of 400.

The reason the '08 Vette is 430HP instead of 400 is because of the new engine. The LS2 used for the last few years was 400HP, for '08 the Vette got the new LS3 430HP. There is a good chance that an LS3 will show up in the new Camaro, perhaps at the same 430HP or slightly detuned to 400+, but until Chevy announces drivetrains we won't know for sure.
