I was talking with my dad this weekend (head of die design for GM) he was telling me they have been having a problem stamping the quaters on the cars. so they had to change the quater panel. So the production car will not have such deep quater panels like the concept does. There making them in australia on the holden line and are due out feb/march 08 as the 09 model. Ive been seeing some diffrent stuff on here and thought i would post all that i know. i can not confirm if all this is true or will change but this is what i know and thought some of you guys would like to hear some details

 

Could Your Dad get in trouble for You posting insider information. Wouldn't want Him to get in trouble with GM brass over this. Remember that We're not the only ones that read this forum!

 

Everyones Dad or Uncle Bill's Cousins friend has insider info. Take it with a grain of salt. Everyone understands the production car always looks much different than the Concept. The Concept cars almost never take into account the production feasability of it's design.

 

the only thing ive heard thevye chaged from the concept is the front fender becouse GM was haveing issues stamping it out. So hopefully it wont change to much from this time to 08'

 

Maybe his dad knows he's a jabber-jaw and gave him some bogus info, just to confuse the public.
