My Left side door Heated Rear View mirror is blackening out around edges of the heated part on mirror. 2015 yellow camaro LT RS.

I added pics with this thread.

When i went to the auto shop, they quoted: 240 for labor and 450 for the part.

From looking at pics, is it okay if i change just the glass ? or the whole part needs to be changed.

If I want to change just the glass, where i can find the steps how to change that?

Is it something that i can do ?

DO you think it requires whole set to be changed?

Any recommendations or suggestions please? I am close to Atlanta GA.
