I want MORE SOUND! (even after muffler delete)
Hey guys,
So I straight piped my 2012 Camaro SS but still want more sound. Any Ideas how i can make it louder but by spending the least amount of money?
Would an x pipe make a huge difference?
Thanks

An x pipe would help to mellow out the exhaust, not make it louder. Unfortunately, your engine doesn't have a volume ****, it only puts out so much sound. You could dump the pipes closer to the front of the car, but that would make it more annoyingly loud inside the car. Or, cutouts would be another option to make it louder when you want.
Operate the vehicle in a tunnel.
You use the straightest tubing runs you can, and you might go up in tubing diameter.
Yes, the engine makes X amount of sound, but by reducing the bends and giving a bigger path out, will give alittle more volume as to the volume of sound made originally.
BTW, what is the sound one is listening when listening to the exhaust?
Hint: it isn't the engine.

That's an easy one. You're listening to pressure waves, which is the basis of "sound".
