Default Heads up

I want headers for my 2SS. I have heard the longtubes give more power than the shortys, is this true? What is the best option to go for? I assume stainless steel that are ceramic coated, because they last the longest without rusting? I think aluminum headers, although cheaper, probably don't last very long. Any input here is appreciated.

I build a lot of motorcycles and with bikes length equals torque. Short pipes for horse power.

Smaller diameter pipes equals more torque. Stainiless pipes are nice.

Many shortys offer minumal gains (about 1HP) over the stock exhaust manifold...that's why GM scrapped their plans to sell them as an accessory. Long tubes offer more HP, but many have had to get a tune, or your engine with throw a CEL (CHECK ENGINE LIGHT)
