Default Custom exhaust for 12 Camaro LT1 RS

hi guys,
I'm new to this forum and have few questions.
Just got my 2012 CAMARO V6 with RS package and I'm thinking of replacing the exhaust with a good custom exhaust. Is this a good idea ? Is this going to void any factory warranties?

I've been checking some youtube videos and found MRT2.0 axle back is interesting. Is there any other exhaust that's better than MRT2.0? I'm not looking for any power gains and all I care is exhaust Sound.

Finally, is there any good exhaust shop in Atlanta that's reliable? Car is brand new(150 miles on it).

Hey man, I too purchased a 2012 rs. Through all the problems I had with my car buying experience, I had the dealership upgrade the exhaust system with the gm performance cat back exhaust. It really improved the sound over the stock, and would do it again if I had to. If you look into accessories through the gm site, you'll see it on there. You could always go flowmaster. Good luck with your new car, btw what color did you get? I got the 45th anniversary.

Thanks for the info!
My car is plain black. I did not check GM exhaust yet. I went to GM accessories zone site but didn't see the price there. Is it expensive? Just checked the MRT 2.0 price its $550 in MRT site. For installation may be 200$ I guess..so total should not exceed $750. I have not checked flowmaster yet. Do you have your car exhaust video in Youtube?

Yeah the exhaust is expensive through GM. I only did it because I didn't pay for it. I do not have a video of it yet, I can tell you a little Bit about it. It's cat back, so your not getting a full exhaust system, I want to keep my car stock, planning on keeping this thing for a very long time. I purchased a crap box to get back and forth from work and such. The pipes are bigger than the stock, chrome, and have th Chevy bowtie on the top (the logo is hard to see due to the bumper sticking out over it. I would have to say that your aftermarket system sounds like its going to be much cheaper. I would just check to make sure that it's proper fit. I had an 03 dodge Dakota that I had an exhaust system added onto it. As soon as I drove it home, it was making all sorts of sounds, (hangers were hit bolts and such). I had to bring it back and get it fixed, but when it was done it sounded nice. Not to mention the engine in that thing was garbage.
