hey, im new on here and this is only my second post i know some about cars but not a ton im thinking about buying a second gen camaro and i was wondering if it would be possible to but side pipes on it like on a late 60's corvette and wat it would take and info id be really thankful

Sure is possible, I believe Patriot makes a set, I'll have to check it out, they aren't too bad. Just got to be carful because you'll be pretty low to the ground. I was thinking about slapping a pair on my second gen but I don't know...

 

Here ya go. They aren't terribly expenive. I don't know if you work on your own cars, or take it to a shop, but if you take it to a shop, I'd check and make sure they can install it, it might take some customization, But my buddy fit a pair of those on his 69 Cuda so the fit a really wide varity of applications. i bought a set o patriot sidepipes used for 60 dollars! I am going to take them straight off the headers with a little u bend and they should be all set.

If you google Baldwin motion camaro, you should see it done. I am modeling my car off of the baldwin motion (execpt for the 454...)
