Hi. So I changed my oil but get the "change oil soon" and one the menu it said 5% life left. I checked the oil and it seems good on the dipstick although its sort of hard to read this dipstick. Its only been 2000 miles if that. But I did not reset the automatic oil monitor after the change . I did not think about it. I did just reset it. Is there a problem or is it likely because I forgot to reset the monitor?

 

I wouldn't worry about it, just change it at 3000 miles or if you're running full synthetic 5000 miles then reset the monitor.
