Anti theft system lockout... I think
I have a 2012 Chevy Camarillo. I recently lost my primary keys and remote. I had to use my secondary key which works but the remote didn’t. I thought it was a battery issue, so I replaced the battery. I was going to program the remote after but I mustve somehow hit the wrong sequence and activated the anti theft. Now neither the alarm or the key will work on my car. What happened and what can I do to fix it?
Camarillo? Is that what they call them in Texas? lol.
You can try this: Key Fob Programming
If that doesn't work, then you'll need to: call a locksmith, or a mobile key company, or tow the car to a dealership. You may need specialized equipment to program a key fob to the car if you have no working one.
