Angry 2010 V6 Manual Transmission Wont Go Into Gear

I'm sorry if I am posting in the wrong place. But, we, hubby and I, have a 2010 V6 and we are having problems with the transmission. I have read complaint after complaint, but I can't find a solution. The car is sitting in the shop right now and they don't know what to do with it since they replaced the clutch and it is still not working properly. It doesn't want to go into first and second gear...but not all the time. Sometimes it works fine, others, you don't know if you are going to become stranded at a light. I am afraid to drive it at this point and my husband can't hardly manage it. The car only has 22,000 miles on it (and I am pretty sure I know why).

Can anyone tell me if there is a solution to this? I want to take the car and dump it but my husband wants to fix it.

We already have 2K in a repair we didn't need.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

How does the clutch pedal feel when there is a problem?
Sounds like it might be a master cylinder problem to me.
Did they put a new slave cylinder in with the new clutch? If not you need a new mechanic.

I'm only familiar with a 1st-gear problem, so this probably doesn't apply. But the 1st-gear issue is in the owner's manual, and I do find it occurs, but very infrequently. When it won't go in, engage and disengage the clutch - has worked for me, 100% of the time.

I don't think anyone can tell you for sure what the issues is since its not a common problem. Do you have any issues getting into reverse? If not it kind of sounds like problem with the 1-2 shift fork. This could be the shifter, rod or the fork itself. This would be something you would want a guy that rebuilds manual trans to look at.
