Default 1ss price

I ordered a 1ss/rs in early December. It is supposed to be in next week. hard top, short throw, mats, polished wheels, connectivity, boston acoustics, cyber grey racing stripes. MSRP around 36,600. What should I try to get down to? How low has similar cars gone for if anyone has one?

32 out the door for mine (1SS), but I got it in Aug 09. I have the BA audio as the only upgrade.

Honestly, cancel your order. Wait a month. Just like I told the guy in the other thread, the ZL-1 is about to hit the streets and people will be dropping their SS cars left and right to get one. You'll save thousands buying a gently used 2011 somebody traded in because they HAD to have the ZL-1

How gently will that SS be used if they are dropping it for the ZL1? Just saying, lol.

I have been looking at a 5th gen for a little bit now, but honestly, how many people are in a position to pop 54K on the ZL-1? Its cool, but at vette prices thats a tough sell to say you are getting value.

you'd be surprised! theres a huge waiting list on Camaro5.com with people dying just to get an allocation for an order. there are an incredible amount of 5th gens for sale on that site already in anticipation for their ZL-1 delivery.

They are really cool, and I love the concept, but you are just about the price for a mildly optioned vette. I went to the dealer last weekend to ask about the ZL1...when I spotted an 11 Z06 for about 12k more than the ZL1. I guess there are a lot of guys who just love the 5th gens more than me.

Default could not wait

My 1ss came in. Picked it up the same day. Once I saw it I had to. Still learning the controls, only the bluetooth bothering me. When both my wife and I are in car, you have to "switch" between phones? anyway around this?

wray, unfortunately there isn't a way around this. It starts off by connecting with the first paired phone and then going down the line. I'm glad to hear you love your new car. If you ever need any help let me know.
