I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but my 68ss doesn't even idle that high 02StanGT 10-09-2005, 07:38 PM How high is it? Your TPS voltage may be off. Do you have any mods? lottboy 10-09-2005, 08:18 PM lets see, how do i explain? When i'm idling in park and just give it a little rev and let off, it feels almost like the throttles stickin. And no the car has no mods. 02StanGT 10-09-2005, 09:27 PM Does it only do it when you rev it, or is it always high? Also, does it eventually come back to normal? I would try revving it from under the hood and seeing if the throttle does stick open. z28pete 10-09-2005, 10:58 PM Agreed, either the throttle and or linkage is sticking. or the TPS went south. Are you getting a check engine lite? lottboy 10-10-2005, 12:35 AM i did fool with the throttle under the hood for a little while and its not stickin, and yes my check engine lights on. Well if the light is on, get it scanned and you will know what code/codes you are throwing. |
