Default cam sensor going bad

I have a cam sensor that seems to be going bad from what i was told. The main question that i have, how easy or hard is the install? I did a research and was unable to locate anything on this forum.

Thanks D.

If it is the sensor and a 3.8 V6, it is a 5 minute job. 2 screws and unplug the wiring harness, pull it out, stick another one in, bolt it up and snap the wiring harness back to it.

When my cam sensor went bad, the car would not even pull itself, it was missing, backfiring and running like it was out of time, as the seasoned mechanics of yesterday would say.
