Alright, I installed the rear marker lights to see what I thought of them... I still think they need to be smoked (nite-shaded), but let me know what you think...
Then I started on another project I had recently become interested in. I have been trying to find/decide on a solution to replace our terrible sealed beam headlights and had seen a few guys use 88-98' C/K truck headlights. Well I figured I entertain the idea, I did some research, found two different how-to's on the subject and decided to try it.
I ordered a pair of smoked headlights off of ebay for the trucks and debated the process for a week or so. Now I will tell you I was very nervous to cut up my car for this mod, but I justified it to myself and got out the grinder. Now, before I get flamed about cutting my beautiful car, here is my reasoning...
The car had been wrecked before, so the bumper cover, head lights, header panel and radiator support have been worked on and/or replaced so they are easliy replacable again, I need to have good lighting for my drive and its a safety issue. Plus its cheaper than getting non sealed beam replacements for our cars.
I have a few touch ups to do still, but it was very cold when I was installing these and I was honestly just over it.
Anyway, I went from this....
To this....
A few more pics.
Now these are just the cheap bulbs they came with, going through the smoked housings and its still much better light.
Let me know what you guys think.

Craby,
I honestly have no clue, I have not driven the car, its been snowing here and my car is a fair weather machine...
Do you think I should be concerned with the heat? I honestly hadnt even thought of that as an issue...
ALSO: I have the perfectly good sealed beams I took out of my car if anyone needs/wants them you can have them, just let me know. I also have the buckets and trim rings with the "levels" built in them and a few of the "tension" springs that didnt get destroyed.
I am also interested in getting rid of my Hypertech Power Programmer if anyone is interested in that.

Those actually look really good. Do you have a link to the write-up? I might consider doing this with a projector housing so I can have HIDs still without blinding people

Thank you I appreciate it, I wasnt sure how they'd look, but I like it.
There are two different sources I used, basically same concept, the first one is projector/HID as you mentioned.

hokeplaya05,
Just take note that the mounting bracket has to be cut, so they will be useless for your truck after that. Thanks man, I love/hate the black.
Slick's camaro,
Thanks man, Im happy with it so far. I just need to do some final fitting, cleaning, touch-ups and then take it out for a test drive. Im hoping that the aim is fairly close or I may end up pulling them back out to trim more of the bumper cover...
