No chime when turning the keys to run!
Hello, recently I noticed when I turn the keys to run (not all the way to start) there is no chime, (it used to chime 3 times when turning the keys to start) everything else works as normal all lights radio etc, and the car starts, I am wondering if this is a sign of a bad ignition? I have also been experiencing sometimes I will go to start the car and hear one loud click from the starter but the car does not turn over, take the keys out try again and it will usually crank on the second or third try, this has been happening rarely but I want to get it taken care of as I don't need to be stranded anywhere, just trying to track down the issue before making any decisions.
Wondering if these two issues might be related?
anyone have any ideas? thanks!

You will have to tell us the year of the car. It makes a difference. If it is 96 or later, the cause could be an intermittent power connection to the BCM, which controls both the chimes and the stater enable relay signal. If it is 95 or earlier, those are probably separate causes.
