Default lights chime

well i went outside lastnight and got in the car (94 v6) i started it up and closed the door and then turned the headlights on and when i did it started dining (like when ya leave the lights on with the car off). So instead of trying to find put why i just took the fuse out and figured i would deal with it today but when i got back in the car to come home i noticed none of my gauges were working so i checked that fuse and it was blown. BTW when i turned the headlights off the dinging would stop. The only thing i have done to my car recently was cut the wires for the fan and wired them to a toggle switch inside the car so i could turn it on manully it was not working before. So any ideas
thanks
Trevor

Sometimes fuses just go bad. As long as it's not blowing repeatedly, I think you'll be alright.
