RE: 4L60E to 6 Speed Manual Conversion
Every thing and then some. The six speed swaps are expensive and time consuming. You can get a well built 4L60 for any where from 1800-2700 bucks depending on what your power goals are going to be. RPM transmissions have some great deals if you are looking for a good company with a great reputation and fair price. There stage 5 transmission is track ready and is solid for well over 500 at the wheels. Its around 2300. They do have higher stages and lower stages depending on what you plan on doing. Personally i think swaping a A4 car to a M6 is a waste. 6 speed cars impress high school kids, Automatics win races plain and simple. If you do decide to go with the M6 swap you will need to find a totaled M6 car and pull just about every thing you can off of her. Pedals, transmission support, slave cylinder, drive shaft, etc.

Thanks for the help. I guess I'm just going to get the current one rebuilt. I love on Guam. LT and LS Camaro's are so hard to come across. The shipping here would be a beast anyway. Ugh, I hate this little island. I can't afford to drop 2k in my car like that. I'm only 16. I just got an internship at a garage. I'm not getting payed, but I get to work on my own car for free using their tools, plus I get the valuable learning experience. Hopefully they'll help me to sort out all this transmission crap. Thanks for the help though. I just wanted to take converting it into consideration. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Once again, thanks.

Psst...you can edit your posts you know...
Anyway, like CBR brought up you're going to need a lot of pieces, and if you don't have any easy way to get parts (especially the big ones) you need to look into repairing what you have. If you're going to attempt the work yourself make sure you have someone with auto trans rebuild experience, they're not the most simple device in the car...
