I bought a camaro about a month and a half ago and i love it except for one problem...its automatic. What are the parts i need to convert it to a manual and would it even be worth it or is it too costly and time consumiung?

 

The T56 is really no better. It is about a $1500 dollar job, plus parts and tuning. I went the other direction manual to auto and could not be happier. Have you thought about putting a higher stall torque converter and a shift kit in? This will flat out smack a similarly modded 6 speed.

TCI makes a decent shift kit.

 

The effort, time, and money needed to swap ina T56 is hardly worth the effort. You're better off either modding the auto or buyin a 6 speed car.......goshI love my 6 speed and it's 30-32 mpg highway

 

So the shifter kit...haha, I dont have any idea what I'm really lookin at. Do you need the one for the other or not?

Also, whats the case number on a '95 v6 auto?

I'm looking at TCIauto's site for the info and cant match stuff up. lol :P
