Those of us, who had to re-mount the original fog lights back to the car (changing bulb, etc) without remowing the bumper and/or air duct below the bumper - know how finicky is this process of inserting the plastic pins back to the mounting holes. There is a tiny space available, and the risk of dropping the pins while fiddling around with slim-nose pliers inside the bumper is huge. Especially because the pin has to be pre-equipped with central insert to be pushed in, what makes it's size even longer, and the process more complicated.
What worked well for me - simple fishing line, bound to the pin, helping to grab it with pliers in the tight space, and avoiding dropping it into the bumper (loosing). After the pin is inserted - cut and pull gets it out.

By the way, there are LED bi-color bulbs available, with the 808 socket, which change the color from white to yellow by turning the fog lights off and on again quickly. nice option for the wet weather visibility without additional wiring, direct replacement part.
