Hey, I'm thinking about buying these new 17' corvette rims for my 96' RS. They are 17 by 9.5 with a 56 mm offset. With these work with my car without rubbing or anything? Im not quite sure what the offset on the stock 96 Rs rims are so i just didnt want to buy new rims and find out that they wont work. Any help appreciated. Thanks - Chase

 

They will work. Are they replicas or are they stock Vette wheels?

They're not bad. I'm quite fond of the C5 Z06 wheels myself. But those look good as well.

 

so they will work with the offset and the bolt pattern of the stock 96 RS? sorry i dont know too much about rims/tires. You have any idea what size tire i should go with and where to find some cheap ones? maybe used?

 

I've had wheels that size, and I used 275/40. Not sure where to get them cheap though.I had to look up thestock offset, and it's approx. 55 mm. I'm to hip on how backspacing and offsets work either.

 

alright well if these vette rims have an offset of 56 mm and stock are 55mm I shouldnt have anything to worry about. Basically just gotta find some tires now.
