Hey everybody, I got a really good deal on a set of 18x8.5 rims. How wide of a tire could I use with the rim? Would a 255/35/18 work? Thank you for any help

Recommended tire size on an 18x8.5 according to TireRack.com is 245/40-18. You should be able to fit a 255 though.

For the record, 255 does work as my car has 255 on the back =P

a 35 series tire is probably a liitle shorter than you would want on there
