i live in ohio and my last 3 cars i never ran a front plate... (5 years) i never been messed with???

if I had an LS1 id either take off the stock grille or just get an SLP grille

As for the topthreethings that hold the grill in place they are kinda threaded onto the plastic peg. Just pull straight out and try not to bend it. Top requires a little more muscle and getting in the right position to pull from. If you do break any of the plastic pegs don't sweat it, you can pick them up cheap.

As for the laws in your area, I know its considered a fix it ticket out here in CA for not having a front plate on, but usually an officer won't bother pulling you over solely for not having a front plate on.

Banks just explained part of it on the last page....

i think it just looks the best without a grill. thats how i have mine...then again i dont need a front plate either tho.

i have to agree with keith because i just took mine off and i think i looks way better.... here are some pics sorry guys its not very clean...but here ya go....

nice stripes, but ya having a front liscence plate is b.s. it takes away so much beauty from these cars. thats why mine is underneath...
