Hi all,has anyone ever seen a place where you can get the factory alloy aluminum wheel's that were on the 80 and 81 Z28.
I may be buying a 79 Z28 ,and want to paint it with the 81 stripes ,and use that year of wheel's to .

I also have to find out if those side vent's on the fender can be changed out to the 81 style . I seen a reproduction cowl hood section one time ,but can't remember where

Why not just buy a 81 Z28?

 

Well number one problem buying an 81 is I don't really think I will find one as clean as the one I am buying.
I know the history of this car ,as it's in the family .
There's only 100000 miles on it ,and virtually no rust ,as it's never been winter driven .
So this is what I prefer to do .

Going to be hard finding wheel's I'll bet though .Wish there was something in an after market wheel tht looked real close

 

wow, I just threw out a set of gray ones two weekends ago and gave away a set of the steel five spoke ones (I think form a '79)the same weekend for $50
