I can pick up a set of lightly used BFG drag radials dirt cheap. I have a few questions. The guy used them for some track days on his 2002 Formula and said they fit fine. My question is that they are 265/60/16 mounted on salad shooters. First question is: I've heard the widest you could safely go on the 8" wide wheels was 255's. My 2nd question is: I have an automatic with a 3.23 rear end, is the extra tire height going to kill my gearing enough to make the extra traction a moot point. Thanks for any input.
