Alright Ive been needing a new hood forever now for my '83and I finally have the money for a nice cowl hood.The cheapest Ive found is on Ebay but I dont know what size will look the best 2" or 4"? What would you guys reccommend? I wasnt sure if the 4 would be an overkill or too high to see over..but thats definately what im leaning towards..Any suggestions would be appreciated

 

i've wondered the same thing for my camaro, i think the look of the 4' is just much more bad *** and it gives it that look of MY CAR EATS BABIES!!! the 2' is nice, but if you're gonna go for it, go for it big!

I found this new hood for about the same price as a 2"..Is this just a really good deal or a rip off?

 

i would say 400 shipped is a pretty standard price for a cowl hood, they easy to make, the ss hoods are much more!
