Most cops won't pay attention to how dark they are unless your doing something really wrong. like street racing, then they'll try to get you for everything they can. My windows are 15% under the law and i haven't had a problem with them yet.

Correct most police officers will pull you over for other reasons rather then tail light covers or window tint ....... once they pull you over for something major then they just tack on the other violations that you have.

i put my blackouts on this afternoon. i got the plastic ones that snap on, but i also used a little tape on the edges to make sure they stay on. they look good. i also put them on my headlights, but is that illegal? im not worried about the tail lights, but i dont know if it is even legal in georgia to cover your headlights. does anybody know?

I really dig mine. I used many coats of VHT niteshades on my 3rd brake light and side marker lights. I think they are the perfect addition to my car since it is black. I put clear corners on the front and left my headlights alone. I know it's illegal to not have a red reflector on the side of the car, but that is ok.

ok so i found out tonight that the blackout covers on headlights aren't such a good idea for night driving. even with my brights on i couldnt see ****!

i have a 91 rs and i have my tail lights blacked out were i live the cops dont care but it the tint is to low or dar thely pull ya over
