I'd like to get American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels, 15x7's, all the way around. Backspace is 3.75" and American Racing says they'll fit. Another wheel company said I need more backspacing or they will hit the fender lip. The suspension is stock except disc brakes were added to the front, hence I had to go to 15" rims. Does anyone have any experience with this?

 

I have 15X8's on the rear of my 69 camaro with 3.75 backspace and they are hitting the rear finder. Front are narrow, but I don't know what they are. (i.e I have the rear off right now trying to figure out what to buy).

Wheel size is 255/60R 15.
